How to Know Your God-Given Purpose

As a coach, the question I hear more than anything else is, "How can I know my purpose?" And if you're on this page, it's highly likely that you're asking the same question. Most people feel unsure of whether or not they even have a purpose... or if they do have one, how to connect with it. Knowing one's purpose can feel so 'far out there', difficult (or even impossible) to access! Many have been asking the Lord for years to show them what their purpose is, yet still do not feel that they have a clear answer.

Let me encourage you today that the Lord wants to reveal your purpose to you as much as you want to know what it is. In fact, even MORE so, because He has the big picture of His plans for this world and He knows just where He has designed to position and place you... in a purpose which will impact the world powerfully if you step into it. And ultimately, He knows that the fulfilment of your purpose will be a journey of intimacy between you and Him - something He longs for beyond description. If you don't step into your purpose, the world misses out and He misses out. And you miss out.

If you want to ask me what qualification, experiences and pieces of paper I have, you can ask me. I have them. But my identity is not in any of these things. It's wholly in Him. And in the end, I suspect that's all that really matters...

How do I know if I have a purpose?
This question is very easy to answer - EVERYONE has a purpose! It doesn't matter who you are or what you're doing, when God created you, He had a specific purpose in mind. His purpose for you is always be to be in relationship and connection with Him - the place where you come alive! Out of that connection, He has something very specific that He has designed you to do... and when you step into it, you will experience the absolute passion, satisfaction and joy of living that He has always wanted you to experience! God never intended for His children to live in the mundane, but rather He intends for each and every one of us to know the adventure of purposeful living in a wide-open, spacious life. God doesn't just offer this invitation to some people, while forgetting the others - this invitation is for you! Today. Now. In this course, you will discover not only the assurance that you have a purpose, but you will step into the journey of discovering what it is, and find yourself well on the way to living the wide-open, spacious life you were created for.
How do I know if I am living with purpose... or without purpose?
If you are living with purpose - you will know it! You will bound out of bed in the mornings, excited about another day to do what God has put you on the earth to do. You will know that you have found the place of great passion, satisfaction and joy. In fact, you will love what you are doing so much that you will need to be balanced about it because you will find it hard to stop each day! You will be living a limitless life of intimacy and adventure, able to see what others can't see, and do what others aren't willing to do. However, not everyone is experiencing life like that. In fact, you may feel as though you are simply repeating the same boring cycles of survival over and over again, not really feeling any great direction, satisfaction or excitement in your life. If you do not know where you are headed in your life, your year or your days, you are living disconnected from your purpose. God never intended His children to live a mundane existence - He has always had the adventure of a wide-open, spacious life in store for each and every one of us. Perhaps you resonate with those who know that they are here for a purpose - and may even have a sense of what it is - but have never stepped into it. The hesitation may be due to fear, uncertainty, lethargy, or something else, but it's keeping you disconnected from your purpose. Yet the Lord wants to sever those limitations now, and set you free to enter fully into all He has for you. Whoever you are and wherever you're at, this course is designed to connect you to both the heart of God and the purpose for which you were created. There's no better way to live than in purpose.
When does this course start and finish?
This is a completely self-paced online course, but we highly recommend that you set yourself a timeframe to complete it in. Being a mini-course, it can be completed in a block of as little as two hours... or could become a 5 day devotional journey to be completed over a week. You can taken more or less time to complete it, depending on how the Lord is leading you.
